Since its incorporation in 1986, COMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS OF PHILADELPHIA, INC. (CISP) has worked in close partnership with the School District of Philadelphia to leverage community resources on behalf of students and their families. 

Currently over 10,000 students per year are being helped to successfully learn, stay in school, and prepare for life.
The various programs offered by CISP targets the population of disadvantaged, low income, and underserved students.
